The animals’ colours: where do they come from and what can we do with them?

Lecture

Different colours inspire us every day. They have an effect on both our feelings and behaviour. Colours help animals survive by keeping their enemies at bay or they help them find food, but they also play a key role in the selection of healthy and attractive partners to reproduce. Dr Liliana Alba shares where animals get their colours and how they serve as inspiration for biomimetic products and designs.
