Recovery of residual heat with a chemical heat pump

Discovery market

This chemical heat pump uses residual heat between 75 and 150°C and converts it into usable temperatures up to 220°C. It is marketed under the name Qpinch. This tool was developed by the Ghent University research group SynBioc, under the supervision of Professor Christian Stevens. This chemical heat pump allows for the reuse of residual heat from industry, allowing for much more energy-efficient industrial processes.
